Craig Haller — Indie Folk and Alternative Music

Indie folk, alternative rock, and Amerikinda music, from wall-of-sound recordings to smaller acoustic tracks. This page collects the music I’ve released.

That Was Zen, This Is Now.

That Was Zen, This Is Now connects lyrical intuition and sound design.

It began with tape loops, found sounds, and melodic fragments that slowly grew into songs. The record came together in The Bonus Room through long nights of layering guitars, keys, and percussion until it started to feel alive.

Released in 2023, this song cycle explores patience, mortality, and the art of knowing when to act and when to listen.

Most of them stay that way.
