Unmoored (for a Dutch painter)

Unmoored (for a Dutch painter)

November 04, 2021 in poetry

A blushing blue light
full of purpose, full of spite.
Transfixed like an ocean
of ingratitude—

echoes and indifference.

I make my peace
with a piece of an
incomplete puzzle.
Severed moments

separated by grief,

refracting a fraction
of truth. Resist the urge
to extinguish light for the
sake of a narrative.

No one reads anyway.

Words Without Music

Writing is a journey into the center of the self. This blog is an outlet for the thoughts, feelings, and poems that bubble to the surface during my exploration of inner space.
